The FT1 is the fat-tire trike in the current catalog. MoonCool’s specification page lists 20 x 4.0 inch tires, a 500W motor with a 1092W peak, a 48V 14.5Ah battery, a Shimano 7-speed, a cadence sensor, mechanical discs, a differential, and a 400 lb max load. It folds. It does not list a reverse gear. Recommended height is 5 ft to 6 ft 3 in.
MoonCool’s regular price is $1,899.99. The product page also shows a sale price of $1,349.99, read on October 25, 2026. That sale price is MoonCool’s online price. Call or visit the store for the in-store price. Neither number is a confirmed shop price.
Two things the pages do not agree on
Range is the smaller disagreement. The specification page says 60 miles. The product highlights and the product description say 35 to 60 miles.
Drive wheel is the larger one. The short product description says a 500W front-drive motor. Sections further down the product page say a 500W rear-drive motor. The specification page lists the power and does not say which hub it is in. We will show you the wheel when the trike is here. We are not going to declare it from the website.
Brakes are mechanical discs, not hydraulic. On a loaded trike that is the spec to compare against the TK2, the TK2 Pro, and the TK Pro, which list hydraulic discs.
Come in and turn a corner on one
Wider tires are the reason to ride this one against a TK2, not a sentence on a page. It is not confirmed on our floor. Book a test ride or call ahead. We deliver if the trike is too wide for the car.
