Six brands, one showroom

Which brand is actually yours?

We do not carry six brands to look impressive. We carry six because riders are different shapes, with different knees, different storage and different plans — and no single brand is right for all of them.

Here is the honest version of who each one suits, including where we would steer you somewhere else.

Two of them — Pedego and Urtopia — are our staples. They are what the shop is built on; the other four fill gaps those two do not.

Pedego

Staple brand

The one your neighbor already owns

Our anchor brand. We are an authorized Pedego dealer and warranty service center, so the bike, the parts, the claim and the mechanic are all in one building.

Best for: Riders who want a bike that is comfortable from the first minute, and a shop that will still be here in five years.

  • Authorized dealer — warranty service done in-house, not mailed away
  • The widest range we carry: cruisers, commuters, trikes and cargo
  • Upright riding position that suits riders who have not cycled in years

Urtopia

Staple brand

The lightest, smartest thing in the shop

Our second anchor. Carbon frames at a weight nothing else on the floor comes close to — and the bike we hand people who are convinced every e-bike is too heavy to bother with.

Best for: Riders who have to carry a bike up stairs, lift it onto a rack, or simply refuse to own something that weighs 70 pounds.

  • Carbon-fiber frames — dramatically lighter than a typical aluminum e-bike
  • Built-in GPS tracking and fingerprint unlock
  • Rides like a bicycle rather than a scooter

Emojo

6 models

Three wheels, done properly

Best for: Riders who want the stability of three wheels, a genuinely low step-through, and a basket big enough to make the trip worth taking.

  • Trikes only — we stock Emojo for their three-wheelers, not their bikes
  • Cannot tip over at a standstill
  • Front and rear cargo baskets, not accessories bolted on afterwards

Meelod

9 models

Retro looks, modern everything else

Best for: Riders who want the bike to look like something, not just do something.

  • Vintage moped styling with modern components underneath
  • Fat tires — comfortable on sand-dusted A1A shoulders and boardwalks
  • The most-photographed bikes on our floor

Murf

5 models

Beach cruising, California-simple

Best for: Coastal riders who want a laid-back cruiser and would rather not maintain a drivetrain they never use.

  • Fat tires that handle sand, shell and boardwalk without complaint
  • Simplified drivetrain — dramatically less to adjust, wear out or replace
  • Long, low, relaxed cruiser geometry

Woom

5 models

Kids' bikes that are actually built for kids

Best for: Parents who have watched a child give up on a bike that was simply too heavy for them.

  • Roughly half the weight of a typical department-store kids' bike
  • Brake levers sized and sprung for small hands
  • Correct geometry per age — not a shrunken adult bike

The comparison nobody else will do for you

A single-brand store has to tell you their brand is right for you, because it is the only one they have. That is not dishonesty exactly — it is just the structure of the business.

We do not have that problem. If you walk in wanting a Pedego and the right answer is a Murf, we will say so and make the same living either way. Occasionally the right answer is that you should not buy an electric bike at all, and we will say that too.

Bring your car if you want to check a bike fits your rack. Bring your partner, because the second bike is usually decided in the same visit. Bring your children, because their bike is what determines whether any of it gets used.

Come and ride one

The showroom is the whole advantage. Fifteen minutes on the right bike tells you more than a month of reading reviews.

Ride all six in one visit

Tell us roughly what you are after and we will have the right bikes charged and ready. No pressure, no deposit, no obligation to buy anything.

  • Ride as many brands as you like in one visit
  • We will tell you when a cheaper bike is the right bike
  • Closed Wednesdays — every other day, 10am to 5pm
