Ride six brands in one afternoon
There is no substitute for this and there never has been. Twenty minutes on three or four bikes will tell you more than a month of comparison videos, because the thing that decides it is almost never on the spec sheet.
How it works
Four steps, none of them awkward

Tell us roughly what you are after
A sentence is plenty. "Something light", "my knee hates top tubes", "I want to stop driving to the office" — all genuinely useful.

We charge the right bikes
We pull three or four candidates across different brands and have them ready, at the right saddle height, when you arrive.

You ride them back to back
Fifteen or twenty minutes. Comparison is the whole point — a bike only feels heavy or twitchy next to one that does not.

You leave
Possibly on a bike, possibly to think about it. Both are fine. No deposit, no pressure, no follow-up campaign.
What to bring
- Your car, if you plan to transport the bike. Bikes vary enormously in weight, and finding out yours does not fit the rack after you have bought it is a miserable discovery.
- Whoever else will ride. Second bikes are usually decided in the same visit, and riding together is most of why people buy.
- Your children. Their bike determines whether any of this actually gets used on a Saturday.
- Closed-toe shoes. Not a rule, just more comfortable.
What we will ask you
Four questions, and they narrow six brands to two bikes surprisingly fast: will you have to lift it, is balance a concern, are you replacing car trips or riding for pleasure, and is anyone riding with you?
What we will not do
Talk you into the expensive one. If the right bike for you costs eleven hundred dollars, we will sell you the eleven-hundred-dollar bike and be pleased about it — a customer who comes back for eight years of tune-ups is worth considerably more than one afternoon's margin, and we would rather have the eight years.
Pick a day
We are open 10 to 5 every day except Wednesday. Tell us roughly when suits and what you are after, and we will confirm by call or text.
- Ride as many brands as you like in one visit
- We will tell you when a cheaper bike is the right bike
- Closed Wednesdays — every other day, 10am to 5pm
