Step-through carbon frames are unusual because removing the top tube while keeping the frame stiff is a genuinely hard engineering problem. Most brands do not attempt it at all.
If a top tube is the obstacle and weight is the priority, this and the Classic ST are close to the only bikes on the market that solve both at once.
