Folding bikes are bought for one reason: the space you have to put a bike is smaller than a bike. On a boat or in a Boca condo with no storage cage, that constraint decides the purchase before anything else does.
Within that constraint the Latch is well judged. It is worth being clear-eyed that small wheels never ride quite as smoothly as large ones over rough pavement — but a folding bike you can store beats a better bike you cannot.
