MoonCool

Who MoonCool is

MoonCool’s about page says the brand was established in 2014 and that the design brief is stability and safety, so more people can get around on their own. The electric trike collection on mooncool.com is titled for seniors and adults. The collection description talks about pedal assist, comfortable seating, and leisure rides.

They also sell the POP, a folding electric bike. It is not a trike, and it is not on this page. The TK1 folding trike and the TK1 fat-tire trike are marked on the US site as no longer available to order. MoonCool points the TK1 folding at the TK2, and the TK1 fat tire at the FT1. We are not listing the discontinued models.

What we are listing

Five current electric trikes. Each card shows MoonCool’s regular price and the sale price printed on the product page on October 25, 2026. The sale price is MoonCool’s online price. Call or visit the store for the in-store price. We have not confirmed a shop price for any of these.

The TK2 is the folding trike MoonCool calls its most popular. The specification page lists one speed, a cadence sensor, hydraulic discs, a reverse gear, and a rear differential. Regular price $2,099.99. Online sale price $1,499.99.

The TK2 Pro is the same folding idea with a 750W motor, a 48V 20Ah battery, a torque sensor, and a Shimano 6-speed drivetrain. Regular price $2,599.99. Online sale price $1,999.99.

The TK Pro is the other 750W, 6-speed, torque-sensor trike. It folds, and the specification page lists hydraulic discs and a differential. It does not list a reverse gear. The geometry chart puts stand-over at 12.2 inches, the lowest of the adult models. Regular price $2,599.99. Online sale price $1,699.99.

The FT1 is the fat-tire trike: 20 x 4.0 inch tires, a Shimano 7-speed, mechanical discs, and a 400 lb max load. Regular price $1,899.99. Online sale price $1,349.99.

The CD1 is the youth trike. MoonCool’s product page recommends it for riders age 8 to 14 and 4 ft to 4 ft 11 in tall. It does not fold. Regular price $899.99. Online sale price $599.99.

Where MoonCool’s own pages disagree

The specification page and the product page do not always give the same range. Each model page below quotes both. We are not going to pick a number so that the table looks tidy. A wrong range on this site gets quoted back to the shop.

The FT1 has a second disagreement. The short product description says a front-drive motor. The product page later says a rear-drive motor. The specification page does not say which wheel is driven. We are not going to guess.

Ride one here before you decide

A trike stays upright at a stop. It also steers instead of leaning, and it is wider than a bicycle, so the useful test is a few minutes in the parking lot and a look at the space you would store it in. A photograph will not settle either question.

The TK2 folding trike is on our floor, so you can come in and ride it. The other models are not confirmed on the floor, so call or text before you come for one of those. Book a test ride if you want the time held, and we will tell you what we can have charged. Trikes are the awkward thing to get home. If that is the part in the way, we deliver.

MoonCool publishes a manufacturer warranty that starts on the delivery date and varies by part. This site does not list MoonCool as a brand we are an authorized warranty center for. Ask in the shop and we will read the current policy with you before anyone buys.
