The Asphalt Outlaw
Define Your Own Path
Rugged power and aggressive design. For the rider who demands presence on the road and torque at their fingertips.
- High-torque performance
- Iconic moto-inspired geometry
- Built for all-day adventure
Who rides these
You want the bike to have presence. You are not apologizing for that, and neither are we — a bike you are pleased to be seen on is a bike that gets ridden, and that is a completely rational basis for the purchase.
What you actually get
Substantially heavier build than a cruiser, which buys you stability and comfort over broken pavement and packed sand. Longer travel. More torque than our flat terrain strictly requires, which matters on the Intracoastal bridges and matters more when you simply want it.
The honest caveat
These are the heaviest bikes on our floor. Ride it, then lift it onto whatever you plan to transport it with. If both answers are yes, nothing else here will satisfy you and you should buy it. If lifting it is a problem, we will show you The Urban Maverick instead and you will not have wasted a trip.

The bikes
Retro fat tire
DK200F
The entry point into Meelod's moped-styled fat-tire line. Vintage looks, wide tires, and the lowest price in the DK range.
- Moped styling at the bottom of the range
- Fat tires for boardwalk and sand-dusted pavement
- The cheapest way into the look
Retro fat tire — dual motor
DK200DM
The dual-motor DK200. Two motors means considerably more shove off the line, which is either exactly what you want or more than you need.
- Dual motor — noticeably quicker away from a stop
- Same retro fat-tire platform
- More capable on soft ground with power at both ends
Retro fat tire
DK300 Plus
The middle of the DK300 line, and the sweet spot for most people who want the moped look without stretching to the Pro or Max.
- The value pick in the DK300 range
- Fat tires and full retro bodywork
- Enough bike for almost any riding around here
Retro fat tire
DK300 Pro
Meelod's best-known bike and the most photographed thing on our floor. Fat tires, deep paint and a silhouette borrowed from about 1955.
- The bike people stop and ask about
- Fat tires handle boardwalk, sand dust and broken pavement
- Retro styling executed properly rather than approximated
Retro fat tire
DK300 Max
The top of the DK300 line. Everything the Pro does, with more power, more battery and a heavier build — the most capable retro bike Meelod makes.
- Top of the DK300 range
- More range and more power than the Pro
- Suited to heavier riders
Fat tire
XT600DL
Meelod's high-output fat-tire bike. Less retro styling than the DK line, more focus on capability and power.
- Built around capability rather than looks
- Fat tires and a substantial frame
- One of the most powerful bikes Meelod makes
Moped-style
T16
The most moped-like bike Meelod makes, with Bluetooth, RGB lighting and NFC unlock. Bought almost entirely for the look, and honest about it.
- The most scooter-like shape in the range
- RGB lighting and NFC unlock
- The one teenagers point at
Pedego Off-road
Ridge Rider 2
Pedego's off-road bike. Suspension, grippier tires and a more purposeful riding position, for riders whose route leaves the pavement.
- Suspension and off-road tires
- More capable than anything else in the Pedego range on rough ground
- Handles the shell and sand our trails are made of
